So glad you found me! Ever since a young age I felt deep inside there was a better way to handling horses, and ourselves. Maybe you've felt the same? I was always a horse obsessed human. Ever since I could point. My parents finally put me in lessons in 2006. Immediately I started volunteering in hippotherapy, followed by many working student programs. But everywhere I went I felt something was missing.
All About Me
Coming from very humble origins I worked hard to be able to train under different trainers from World Champions to College instructors. I developed a reputation for being able to work with and get through to the "difficult ones". And was often asked to develop lesson horses for lesson programs. In 2020 I decided to "go pro". My first "resale project" ended up becoming my heart horse and the foundation of my training methodology and breeding program.
In 2022 my husband and I bought our first property and started Texas Oaks Sporthorses where I offered lessons and training to all ages and levels. But as I continued my education and the business evolved it became clear we needed a rebrand that aligned more with my renewed purpose.
Catalira Equine emerged with renewed energy and focus on not just riding lessons but guiding empowered partnerships.
